The additional office space at the Ponce City Market was added as a new Atlanta retail outlet, part of Google’s plans to roll out “Google Fiber,” an ultra-high speed broadband service. Today, the area is the preferred destination for a number of high-profile, high-tech companies, including Twitter, MailChimp, Howstuffworks and athenahealth.
